SCP-2391-A copy of the video game title "Sonic the Hedgehog," made by SEGA Enterprises. The game does not appear to follow the rules of the original game, as the title screen changes after a few seconds. The transition changes the river to a dark red, a lighter red-colored sky, SEGA 1997 becomes SEGA 666, and Sonic's eyes become dark with bright red pupils. The eyes also emit a red liquid, presumably blood. Also, the hedgehog is not on the character selection screen. The characters available are Miles "Tails" Prower the Fox, Knuckles the Echidna and the antagonist of the original series; Dr. Eggman Ivo Robotnik. The game-play is almost identical to a non-anomalous copy of Sonic The Hedgehog, but with slight changes in sprites and animations. When the player selects Tails, they spawn in an ordinary level. But as the level continues, more corpses of small animals appear. Then, at the end of the level, the original protagonist appears. The hedgehog opens his eyes and the screen turns to black. Text appears asking if the player wants to play a game. Afterwards, the screen shows a level known as "Hide and Seek, Act 1." As the player continues, Sonic appears on the screen multiple times, followed by a laugh similar to that of Kefka Palazzo from the Final Fantasy franchise. The player has to keep running until Sonic appears, and the drowning theme starts. After the level is completed, Tails is no longer selectable, after the player completes the level "You Can't Run" as Knuckles the Echidna, text saying "So many souls to play with, so little time. Wouldn't you agree?" appears on the screen. After the level is completed as Dr. Eggman, the game is completed. The screen stays black for a small amount of time. Then, the demented Sonic's face appears, followed by text reading "I AM GOD" on the screen. Then an entity similar to the antagonist in the video game manifests within a few feet of the player after a few hours or days, then proceeds to torture and slaughter the player. Then, the entity de-manifests, presumably returning to the cartridge, waiting for another player. This entity is known as SCP-2391-B. SCP-2391-B is a 4 foot tall humanoid figure resembling Sonic the Hedgehog. The entity is sentient and capable of communication, and is quite cooperative. It is capable of floating, but only several feet above the ground.
