Okay? So since Maus was never a part of the curriculum 200+ years of students enrolled in the McMinn county public schools were never taught about the Holocaust? Give me a break; if this publicity stunt had anything to do with the Holocaust, teaching History, or the importance of an authors perspective in a specific literature context, why is it before January 2022 not a single person even suggested that they include it in the curriculum or for that matter have any criticism at all regarding the Holocaust curriculum?

I'm not saying Maus isn't a phenomenal literary masterpiece. I read it in school and think it should be taught. The only issue I have is how there are people in this country blatantly exploiting it with the sole purpose of trying to slander a political party under the guise of social justice

I think it’s more the bans on black history that have folks upset.
