The US shouldn't have to though. There are UN and NATO countries that are closer that appear to be doing nothing.

well for one, ukraine is not part of nato. it is technically not obligated for nato to interfere, but i see the UN issue

nato is going to be sending stuff over to ukraine if war breaks out. the u.s. already has 8,500 troops on "high alert", same with france apparently ready to send troops to romania (right under ukraine), spain already sent ships to join a nato fleet and denmark has f-16s to lithuania

ukraine is not going to be completely by themselves in this, but i dont think it is going to directly result in nato v. russia

i said appear because i knew i didnt have all the information. national news sucks at mentioning not america aid to ukraine.
