I know my comment is kinda late but don't you think that it is not really fair to criticise Sonic Boom for its portrayal of Knuckles?

I mean, it was meant to be a comedy show rather than a serious one in the first place and this Knuckles was meant to be portrayed with the trope that a muscular character would lack brains...
