Heavenly Father,
Like a leaf caught in the wind,
life can bring turbulence
and an uneasy feeling
to those not grounded
and anchored by Your love.
As life throws more twists and turns at us,
we ask You to calm the winds of deception
and still our hearts with an inner peace
that soothes our worries,
relieves our burdens,
and cleanses our souls.
Sweep away the evil forces
that breed in the chaos of insanity
and restore the tranquility
and confidence
of a heart touched
by Your unconditional love
and warm embrace.
As a new day beckons,
we boldly pray
in the name of Jesus.
