Page 661 bottom right - page 662 top left <We have chosen not to introduce a separate category of "mixed economy" for several reasons, however. There are very few countries that genuinely incorporate both substantial market principles and central planning of the economy. Those countries commonly considered to represent mixed economies in Western Europe and Scandinavia are almost exclusively high-income countries> THEY LEFT OUT THE RICHEST COUNTRIES WHICH ARE 'CAPITALIST' LIKE THE USA. The study is trash.

That chart is trash anyways. It doesn't list the countries, and why do socialist/communist countries have income strata when everyone is "equal"????? Guess they don't have true economic equality, then, do they?
I don't know what dope you are smoking. WW2 didn't end in the 80s and the famine in Russia, happened, as sure as the Nazi Holocaust happened. Do you deny that too?
and you also brought up the ukraine famine what does that gotta do with the 80s?

Yes, "we gonna leave out the great depression" because people didn't die like that in the US in the 30s. There was poverty then, as there is now. But not mass starvation. Did you know that the US is the top exporter of food on the entire planet? Poor people here don't starve like Somalian children or the street waifs in Calcutta.
