I meant dragons that fly around and breath fire, not the ones that if they bite you you are dead (though in Wings of Fire, there are dragons that have poisonous barbs on their tail and some that can spit acid/poison). Also, since Komodo dragons sometimes attack humans, this is likely the reason why they are killed (specifically in these situations intentionally). They are also killed indirectly by other human practices, like most other animals since they could be losing their habitat.
