Try it out on a calculator or on a piece of paper

Try it out on a calculator or on a piece of paper | HERE’S A LITTLE MATH TRICK:; 1. Think of a 3-digit-number where all the numbers are different and the first & last digits have a difference of two or more.
2. Reverse the digits of that 3-digit-number. 3. So now you have two numbers, the original and the original’s number palindrome. Subtract the smaller number from the larger one.
4. You should have a three digit number. If you happen to have a 2-digit-number (probably because the first & last digits had a difference if less than 2), then add a 0 add the beginning of the number in the hundreds place. 5. Reverse the digits of the number you just got by subtracting.
6. Now you have two numbers: the number you got from subtracting and that number’s palindrome. Now add those two numbers. The sum of those two numbers will be 1089. | image tagged in black background,math,1089,1089 trick, puzzles | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
