The question is: Do they all count as separate deities or are they all the same? I mean, they are separate people, but doesn't being the Avatar literally mean their spirit is always the same and only gets reborn into a new body? And where does it end? Are Kyoshi and Korra and so on bisexual or is Raava? 🤔 And tbh Aang seems more pan than bi but that might just be his Air Nomad cultural identity...

I always thought Raava was simply beyond labels. And I'm not saying Raava IS the spirit getting reborn into the different Avatars - they're just linked and basically haven't existed seperately ever since Wan. And as I understand it it's Wan's spirit/soul getting reborn every time. The question probably boils down to: Is sexuality a part of your spirit/soul? And until we get more information about Wan we probably won't know if his sexuality is the one being passed down or if Raava influenced it.
But I don't agree with Aang being straight... I mean he's only ever in one relationship so that's really not much to go on. But to me it just always seemed like gender really wasn't important to him. 🤔
