Only been about 30 for me but i can't recall once ever smoking hemp. Does hemp even grow any buds?

I live in the middle of farm country along the mississippi river in western Illinois and in the 40's they grew large fields of hemp around here for rope. and to this day it still grows along some of the rural roads from seeds falling off the trucks while transporting it.We call it Ditch weed!. and in my younger days I would cut some down and try it to no avail just a headache lol. It looks Exactly the same smells skunky and has very seedy buds and gets about 10 feet tall but no high!

Sounds like hemp is just a male marijuana plant

There are male and female plants in about equal amounts. by observing its growth is how i learned how to tell the sex of the plants. It is Exactly the same you cannot tell the difference it only has about .01 percent thc.

I can never identify sex until i trigger the flowering process. You cant really judge by size ive had extremly tall plants turn out to be female as ive also had shorter plants also be female and vice versa

Yep I know what you mean. now these days I just purchase feminized seeds and I just wait till spring and grow about 5 or 6 plants in my yard mixed in with other plants and nobody has ever spotted them :-) I keep them pruned to about 5ft and that supplies me with enough buds to last me all year and sell a little.
