Lol I think so too. 2 is a little rushed and I was planing on adding shit like scales/patterns that can glow. So I might be making the colors a little darker or just changing the entire color scheme in general.

Well, for 2 I'd suggest switching the gray to pure black and the belly to be the same color as the wing flesh stuff whatever

Yeah, that’s what I was aiming for but I did a black outline.

A lot of art software has a feature called "clipping" if the layer above another is clipping then whatever is on the clipping layer goes onto the layer below, but only places where there is already color. This way you can re-color lineart to whatever you want.

Then again, you can just use black on a black outline anyways, it doesn't always end up that bad

Even if I did add the flame tail, it’s unlikely I would use either currently.
