First communist? No. Communal ownership of property has been tried throughout history, but always fails due to people being inherently corrupt.
1st century Christians attempted communal living. All possessions were donated to the church and the church took care of everyone equally. They fell apart immediately because the people handing out the goods couldn't be trusted not to dip into the till.
Early versions of Robin Hood portrayed him as a displaced lord, stealing wealth BACK from King John, who was taxing the country to starvation. This is not communism, but a guerilla war against corrupt autocrats.

I think Robinhood, if he actually existed, was more along the lines of a well meaning anarchist. If he was a communist he probably wasn’t the first. There were probably many prehistoric tribes that were governed under a form of communism. Impossible to know for sure without a time machine, of course.
