i don't remember what animal it is but if you have a city kid saying he can ride it he's trying to fit in, however if you have a country boy say that you can ride is than he is just trying to get you to do it for his entertainment. because you can't

Actually, a certain group of mammals - monotremes, actually do lay eggs, like echidnas.
