so bascially its PEMDAS ( Parentheses, Exponents,Multiplication,Division,Addition,Substraction )



you are adding 3 then adding 3 which is divided by 3 = 3 / 3 = 1 = 3 + 1, since Division is BEFORE addition therefore making the result correct as 4.
