Q: where the hell are all these memes SurlyKong made bullying poor Pollack? Or was the whole thing bullshit?

I decided to do this in a FAQ style comment, so here goes.

Q: “does this whole #givepollardabreak thing means you side with IG and the CP?”

A: Abseloutely not. My intention of starting this hashtag wasn’t about showing my support for CP. Actually, my respect for them has gone down ever since this has started, becuse I haven’t seen anyone in CP actually offer Pollard support, or even show solidarity.

Q: “So, why did you start the hashtag then?”

A: I started it to show how toxic this stream is becoming in regards to bullying and mental health. Pollard is a prime example, because whilst he does nothing to offend CSP in general, they constantly throw attacks and shade his way, even though they know he isn’t as seasoned in this stream as them, and hasn’t yet developed the thick skin that many stream regulars have.

Q: “How can I be a less toxic stream member?”

A: By not constantly kicking someone who’s down, standing up for what’s right, and picking your battles.

[image deleted] Very very rare does anyone rip on pollard unless your poking at each other that too is rare. Clearly everyone is usually directed at ig so pollards break seems more like an excuse to do his famous afk. It’s np he needs time to focus or stuff, price left and had more important matters to focus on. his excuse is confusing when it’s ridiculous when he’s hardly on to begin with or posts to mock.

Also I don’t think anyone needed this q and a, it’s very rhetorical. so yes #givepollardabreak, like usual bc no one rips on pollard unprovoked anyways.

You're missing my point here. The point isn't Pollard specifically, its about showing how this stream is slowly turning into MSMG: Politics edition. It's just drama, and toxicity. We need to be kinder to each other, and I thought the Pollard thing was a chance to start.

I don’t follow or use msmg so I have no idea. with cp not doing anything and annoying ppl as soon as they came in, they really didn’t help this mess by provoking ppl. Crapping on cp bonds the other parties but ig could offer a new start with a less pathetic mannerism going forward.
