Being debt-free is basically communism

You just haven't learned that rich people don't really have money they use credit and buy assets. Saving money is not how you get ahead in a debt society so yeah, working your ass off day after day to save up dollars is making you work for money, when rich people make money work for them. Robert Kiyosaki has a book that you should read or even listen to on YouTube.

I know well how capitalism works. I oppose it on ethical grounds. Freedom is more important than comparative wealth.
