Dio committed mass genocide to get a more powerful heart stone

Ok so I don’t have d a t e s-
Because I don’t know if the story takes place in the future past or present compared to our world
But the events are in order and how many years or whatever were in between them

Ok so Pangea is like the big land for thing that broke up into the world we have today
B u t
The giant land chunk never really broke
So there’s one big chunk of land and there are this species called Pangeans
They are kind of like what humans are to us, the basic first species of living thing that can talk and stuff like humans
But they had mainly 2 differences from humans:
1: magic users
And
2: usually looked like they were part animal/creature (horns, ears, tails, wings, teeth, etc)
And one day a Pangean was born (well 2, it was twins)
And they didn’t have any magic or physical differences
They were just
Blank?
So they were the first humans
And over the years there were more humans and not fully Pangean Pangeans
Like they may be part dragon but no magic
Or look like a human but have magic
And these humans started to get angry because they wanted powers and the Pangeans just kept thinking they were superior over humans.
War started
This war started and ended pretty quickly
But humans won.
They started burning down Pangean houses and buildings and going power hungry.
They always wanted more power
More people to fear them and now down to them and worship them as if they were gods.
So they hid.
Pangeans hid from the humans, even some going to such extremes of cutting off tails and ears or horns and wings.
They were dying quickly, even faster than before because of this.
They almost became extinct at one point but some humans turned against the power hungry ones and helped the Pangeans
Pangeans found ways to bring back dead loved ones and they tried fighting against humans again
Both teams ended up surrendering and becoming friends again.
War was over
Until they decided to have a queen
And a king
And a castle
They wanted to have some form of government.
B i g mistake.
The people they chose for king and queen were not the best
Well the king was, he was generous and kind and helped everyone he could
The queen on the other hand was one of the power hungry humans-
Correction, a child of one
She became terrifying and killed Pangeans trying to capture their powers.
It only worked twice
Once when she killed a shark like pangean
And the other time when she killed the king.
Her skin went pale, her eyes went completely black and she, over time…
Grew
She grew in status as the most powerful creature to ever walk the planet
She grew literally, becoming almost twice as tall as she was before (10 feet tall now)

Everyone was terrified of the queen
Queen Rona.
She would kill humans and Pangeans, turning them into mindless minions for herself
Her unwilling subjects fought back
She did not survive
Rona was gone
The now free subjects celebrated for years soon years.
They were no longer living in fear, living in the shadows
They didn’t even try and re build most things like the castle and old homes.
They burned it
They buried rubble of the old castle
They built new houses and new shops and new everything besides the castle, they left that how it was
They burried the queen in the castle, hoping that it would collapse on its own soon and forever lock the queen away in a grave of earth and stone.
People claimed the smaller ruins of the once solid wall surrounding the villages, wanting to take back what used to confine them.
Not knowing there was nothing behind those walls.
Only water
Only the unknown
Only more fear
The people didn’t know what to do, they expected more islands more… life
Nothing.
While they were distracted by the new found emptiness of their world they didn’t know that the queen was being brought back from the dead
A small group of people hated those who disrespected the queen as they did.
She came back
Everyone was in a panic, not knowing what to do some tried to escape.
Swimming, building boats or ships to try and find life beyond the liquid void ahead.
Nothing.
Those who set out to find other life died from the sea creatures or from starvation or going insane at sea.
The ones who stayed became miserable but remained alive.
The humans didn’t mind this life, it wasn’t constant war so they were content.
The Pangeans were not.
They made a decision.
They were going to stop the rain of the queen once and for all.
Pangeans from all the surrounding villages bound together for one last spell
For one last use of magic.
They made a ball of energy.
It slowly solidified into a giant crystal
They hid it deep underground.
It was a last resort “self destruct” button
If all the Pangeans died out?
Boom
Pangea would be no more.
There formed groups of people who wanted this crystal’s power
The Queen
The villain circus
Vilco
And the cult of Aelia
They constantly fought not just for that power but against each other.
No one knew that if they tried to claim the crystal as their own they would all be destroying the world.
Everyone just wanted to be at the top.
Be powerful.
Be known to all.
