POV: you adopted her

"Aren't you pretty...what's your name?" she asked softly and smiled at her

"o-ok" *she goes onto the passenger seat*

She smiled and closed her door. She hopped into the driver's seat and helped buckle her. She then buckled herself and started driving

A few minutes after driving, she got a phone call. She quickly answered and placed the phone to her ear "Hello?" she said. She quickly pulled the phone away from her ear as she heard whining from it. After a bit, she hung up and sighed "I may have forgotten to tell you, but you have a sister who's 6.." she said and sighed

"really?"

She nodded "Yes. Her name is Charlotte, but people call her Charlie. She's a very nice girl and hopefully, you two will get along." she said and smiled, not taking her eyes off the road

"oh ok"

"She was actually the one who got me to adopt you. She wanted a sister and she got very interested in you when we passed the center the other day." she said and laughed quietly

"ohhh ok.."

"K-kuruine.."

"That's a lovely name, my name is Madeline, but you can call me Maddie if you're still not used to calling me something else..." she said and softly patted her head

She glanced at her, a bit surprised. She smiled and hugged her back gently

She laughed quietly "Alright, darling. We got to get home." she said and patted her head again
