this is a traditional sexist meme. why do women need to be treated with utmost care when men are told "walk it off" or "get over it" or "tough it up"

Allow me to explain
traditionally, the husband is the protector and provider for the family
The wife was the nuturer and momma duck of the children
And being the protector, certain traditions arose
Like opening the door for a lady, or standing when a lady approaches your table
Or even walking on the ladies right side down a street
This is because if a passing car splashes water it will hit the man, not the lady

Simple acts like this are called chivalry or gentlemanliness

And it has nothing to do with us thinking you are "delicate" or "fragile"
It is just a simple act of kindness and respect that became tradition
It is kindness not prejudice

And not all men are gentleman and not all women are ladies

But it is a sign of kindness and we should all be more like bill
