it happens everytime, and no other lag has happened (e.g. the screen freezing at moments) so i doubt it would be lag

Did you try breaking the chests and then leaving and rejoining your server?

breaking the chests worked, rejoining didnt
i do not feel like breakingg every chest i want to use, also if i open a different chest while the other chest is still open the other chest closes and the different chest opens, but still has the same bug thing, doesnt close
