Kenji frowned and grabbed something from his boot. He raised whatever he had above his head and a loud noise was heard, like a gunshot "Oi, piss off." he said and scoffed at whoever was punching him

"I'd like a drink..."

He smiled “Once you get better…we will.” He said softly

"Great."

He laughed quietly and glanced at his phone. He sighed “She’ll be here in 20 minutes…she has to distract her daughter..” he muttered

"MK.."

He smiled and kissed him back

He laughed quietly and smiled

*He passed out*

“Dave..?” He asked and raised a brow. After realizing he passed out, he got worried. “Dave!” He said and spread his wings, he grabbed his phone and rapidly texted Maddie to hurry

*He sat in the same spot he almost died in*
"I should have died."

He walked around, trying to find him. He frowned when he couldn´t and sighed ¨Maybe....maybe he´s there....¨ he muttered and ran towards the same spot. He slowed down once he was able to see him. He stopped in his tracks and just stood there, his familiar sad look on his face

*He ran*

¨No! Don´t run...!¨ he barely managed to say. He frowned and sighed. He sat on the closest bench and covered his face with his hands

*He tripped and fell*

He looked up and sighed. He stood up and walked over to where he fell with his hands in his pockets ¨...Dave...?¨ he asked quietly

*He tried to crawl away*

He frowned sadly "Why did you do it...?" he asked

*he turned around and gasped, got up and started running again*

He looked down and frowned sadly. He sat down in that same spot on the ground and buried his face in his knees, and quietly cried

"Ah."

He rolled his eyes playfully and smiled. He kissed his cheek and then let go. He sat down on the ground and wrapped his wings around him

*He smiled*

He laughed quietly and smiled back. He sighed and pulled his hood up, then rubbed his eyes a bit

"Why don't we rest here?

He smiled and laughed a bit “Mm, sure..” he said quietly

*he just passed out again*

“Dave?!” He asked, looking worried again. He wrapped his wings around them both and hugged him

*he started snoring*

He sighed of relief "Gosh, you scared me.." he said quietly and smiled a bit

His eyes widened again and his face started burning a bit. He stayed there, silent for a bit

*he smiled*

He covered his face with his hands, his face red

"This sweater is really ichy- maybe ill take it off..."

He muttered "Alright..." and stopped hugging him. He then looked away, his face still red

*He took the sweater off, walked and put it by his bag, and walked back*

He had pulled his hood up and let his hair cover his face. He kept looking away, still flustered

"Its not like you'll die if you look at me.."

He shrugged "That's true...." he muttered and brushed his hair away. He looked up at him, his hood still up and his face less red

*A loud firetruck went off, He had wide eyes*
"Hi!"

He raised a brow ¨Hey...are you alright...?¨ he asked and walked over to him, then tilted his head a bit to the side

*he was shaking and smelt of smoke*
"Grrrrrr- reat!"

He frowned a bit ¨Are you sure? You´re shaking and you smell of smoke..¨ he said quietly

"Y-Yeah!"

He looked at him and crossed his arms, then frowned ¨You sure?¨ he asked

"If you don't look outside, Yeah!"

He stared at him for a bit and stayed quiet ¨What´s going on outside...?¨ he asked quietly

He had a sad look on his face ¨...Dave...what did you do..?¨ he asked quietly

"i'm....sorry."

He stayed quiet and wiped his tears away "...It's alright....just stay with me..." he said quietly

*His eyes closed*

He quickly looked back at him "Dave?! No no, you got to stay with me! Please!" he yelled, tears streaming down again

*He tried to smile again, But failed*

"Where the hell is the ambulance?!" he screamed, sounding furious and desperate. He grabbed his hand and used his other to call someone else. He looked at him "Maddie?! I need your help, now...!" he screamed into the phone. After giving her their location, he hung up and started crying again "Come on, just a bit longer, I got someone who can help..." he said quietly

*He slowly put his blood-covered arm up*

He started sobbing at the sight of it "This is why you have to listen to me..." he said quietly. He then lifted his head slowly as he heard running coming towards them "Kenji?" a girl with dark-purple hair approached them. She glanced at Dave "Oh, he doesn't look too good." she said and Kenji frowned "Yeah, I know that! Please! Help him!" he said. Maddie sighed and looked at Dave "Are you still with us?" she asked quietly

*He sobbed a tiny bit louder*

Kenji frowned sadly and held his hand a bit tighter "Hold on...you'll be fine..." he said quietly and nodded at Maddie. She opened a bag she had brought and grabbed a few paper towels, then cleaned his bloody arm. She then stepped away and looked at him for a bit, then her blue eyes glowed a bit. She was healing him, bit by bit "Can you breathe normally yet?" she asked quietly

*he nodded*
"A Crown."

"Why do you need a crown?" he asked

"for the Sake of having one."

He smiled and rolled his eyes playfully "Alright." he said and went to the kitchen. He grabbed a cookie and ate it quietly

*He grabbed a crossbow*
"Normal."

He raised a brow once he looked at the crossbow. He frowned a bit, but then continued eating his cookie quietly

"I'm not gonna shoot it!"

"Heard that!" he said from the kitchen. "If you're going to shoot someone, it better not be an innocent." he said and ate his cookie

"Planning on shooting them?" he asked and came out of the kitchen, eating another cookie

*He smiled*

He laughed quietly and smiled back. He kissed his cheek and went back to lying down on the couch

*"Great." he muttered and walked out*

He glanced at him as he left. He frowned a bit and sighed. He pulled his hood up and went on his phone for a bit

"I wish to be a kid again.."

He got bored and put his phone away. He stood up and went to the kitchen. He saw there were no cookies left and frowned. So, he got what he needed and started making cookies

*he set off fireworks*
"Yeahhh. It's gonna all burn everything down. Why did I..."

He heard the fireworks and raised a brow “Who uses fireworks this time of year..? Oh well.” He shrugged it off and continued

He ran out of the house, leaving the door wide open. He coughed and laughed “Oh god, that was too much flour..” he said as he got covered in flour

"Awww."

He rolled his eyes playfully "Shut up.." he said quietly and smiled a bit

"Should i cut my hair?"

He looked down "Well, I like your hair long. But, if you want to cut it, go ahead." he said and looked back up at him

"Ill just- Change, Be right back."
*He walked out of the house and to a store*

He nodded and then buried his face into a pillow. His face began burning again and he sighed.

*A bit later he came back*

He was in the kitchen, eating a cookie quietly with his hood still up

His face got red again and finished his cookie. "Hey..!" he said and turned back, then smiled

*he put his head back*

He made it home and sat on his couch. He stared at the ground again and then removed the sweater he was given. He placed it in the other couch and put his own hoodie on. He put the hood on and laid on the couch, muttering quietly to himself

*He smiled and silently sobbed*

He stayed in the couch for a while, then got worried. He sat up and frowned slightly. He opened the door and got blasted with chilly wind “Damnit..” he muttered and took off his hoodie and put on the sweater. He grabbed his phone and closed the door behind him. He walked closed to where the tunnel was and started shouting his name “Dave?! Where are you?!” He screamed

"don't... worry.."
*He whispered to himself and sniffled*

He kept screaming out for him and then stopped. He frowned and looked down “Dave?!” He yelled once more. He looked back up and looked around. He sat down on the nearest bench and pulled his hood up and stayed there

*he slowly creeped more out of sight, Leaving a small blood trail.*
"It'll be over soon."

He kept frowning, getting more and more worried. “Dave..?” He yelled once more, his voice breaking a bit. He stood up and began shouting for him again

"I guess it's time."
*he yelled out "I'M HERE."*
"Oh- Oh no...."
*He couldn't feel anything.*

He quickly glanced to where the yelling came from and ran towards it “Dave!” He said and smiled. He then ran towards him “Dave!” He said and then noticed the trail of blood and stared at him “Dave..?” He asked quietly

*he shivered*

He continued hugging him and wrapped one of his wings around them. The other he gently placed above him and smiled

"hahha..."

He smiles "You're awake?" he asked and laughed quietly

"yeah"

"Every time you pass out, you scare me and then you wind up waking up." he said

"I can't get sleep-"

He frowned sadly "Then that may be the reason you pass out." he muttered. He sighed "At least try to..." he said quietly

*he layed his head down*

He smiled again and continued to hug him. He rocked him softly and wrapped them with his wings

Dave: *Slowly looks up* please d-dont hurt m-me..

He glanced at him and frowned sadly. He put his gun away and shook his head "I won't..." he said quietly

Dave: *starts shaking* oh no..

He raised a brow "What is it? Are you alright?" he asked

Dave: "My dad...He...He'll make me bleed more tonight....'

He frowned "Do you have anywhere else to go..?" he asked and put his hands in his pockets

"Sadly no. I Don't."

He looks at him for a moment and then looks away, thinking for a bit. "You could either go with that sad excuse of a father...or come with a random person you just met.." he said and glanced at him

"Screw it, I could die either way." *he sighed* "What's your name?"

He laughed quietly and sighed "Kenji. What is yours?" he asked

"I guess."

He looked at him for a bit and sighed "Well, I don't think I'll be able to stop you." he said and finished his cookie

He smiled and rolled his eyes playfully "You're only going after them?" he asked and laid down on the couch

He stared at the ground for a long time, almost falling asleep. He sighed and stood up. He walked out of the tunnel and walked home

He woke up after a bit. He just stayed on the floor, frowning as small tears streamed down his cheek. He managed to stand up and took a deep breath. He pulled his hood up and went outside. His eyes widened once he saw the burned down house ¨Dave...no you didn´t....¨he said quietly

*He grunted*

He looked at him and held his hand. He smiled a bit and kept looking out

*He hugged him and rested his head on his shoulder*

He smiled and hugged him back. He then heard someone coming towards them. He spread his wings a bit and Maddie waved "Second time I've come here." she said and he nodded "Yeah yeah...he's not that bad, just broke something I guess..." he muttered. She sighed and sat down next to them. She glanced at his back and her eyes glowed again, healing him bit by bit

*He woke up*
"what the..?"

"Don't worry, Maddie is healing you as much as she can.." he said quietly as Maddie nodded, looking tired

"T....Thanks."

Maddie smiled "It's no problem." she said quietly. She finished after a bit and rubbed her eyes, looking a bit pale and tired "Take it easy for a bit...let it fully heal.." she said

*He slowly got up*

Maddie backed up a bit and he also stood up, hiding his wings

"Yeah."

He frowned slightly and wrapped his wings around him completely "Oh..I see.." he said quietly

He pulled his hood up and looked back down "Did they do something...?" he asked quietly

He closed his eyes and sighed, then cried again silently

*He flapped his wings and a feather flew off of his head*
"Oops...Sorry."

He opened his eyes again and wiped his tears away "It's alright..." he said quietly

*He snuggled up on him*

He smiled and spread his wings a bit, then laughed quietly

He laughed quietly "Some of my friends don't dare to wake me up...I get moody if I'm woken up..." he said and looked at him and shrugged "Looks like it didn't happen today."

"Heh." *He took his dress shirt off and walked over to his bag for a normal sweater*

He pulled his hood up and covered his flustered face with his hands

*He walked back with his sweater on* "Somthing wrong?"

"Nope, perfectly fine-!" he said, his hands still covering his face

*He grabbed his hand and kissed it.* "You sure?"

He nodded “Alright” he said and put the rose back in his hair

*he opened the door, it was raining.*

*he walked into a tunnel that blocked the rain with a bench facing to the exit so, it's like a waterfall view.*

He looked at it a bit longer and then sat down next to him, then looked back at it and smiled

He flinched a bit, hating the sound of thunder. He pulled his hood up and covered his ears, then closed his eyes tightly

He took off the cloak and hung it on the coat rack gently. He smiled and yawned, then sat down on the couch. He leaned his back and rubbed his eyes

"DAVE!!" he screamed and ran towards the edge. He didn't jump but just looked down. He started sobbing and screaming

"DAVE!!" he shouted again, hoping he'd answer. He screamed while crying

"Oh my god!" he screamed and hesitated. He frowned and black wings emerged from his back. He hissed in pain but he flew down. He flew next to him and looked at him, crying "Dave!" he screamed

He placed his hand over his mouth, shocked and devastated. He started sobbing again "I-I'll get you help..." he said quietly, his voice breaking

He nodded as he typed on his phone furiously "Y-yeah...I just don't use them because they badly hurt..." he said and winced as his wings began to hurt

He laughed quietly and covered himself with his wings. "Maddie is on her way....maybe she can help you..." he said and smiled a bit

"I can try to fly..."

He looked at him "You wanna try?" he asked and slowly unfolded his wings

"later...I still can barely move."

He frowned a bit and sighed "It was a long fall....most likely broke something if you can't move..." he said quietly

He looked back down "I saw the burnt down house...." he said and wrapped his wings around him again

"At least no one was home when it happened..." he said and looked at him from the small opening of his wings "Is that why you wanted me to go inside..?" he asked

"I should have burned his house." *He said in deep breaths, still running*

He had given up. He walked back to his house and locked the door. He took off the sweater and threw it in a corner. He put on his own hoodie and laid down on the couch, staring at the floor

*He ran to a cliff*

He sat up on the couch and put his hands on his face, then started crying again. He went outside again and stood in front of the burnt house "Why though...." he asked quietly

*He shakily sighed*

He lowered his head and pulled his hood up. He walked away from the burnt house and took a walk, nearby the same spot he was

He walked by the tunnel and looked at it. He smiled a bit, then continued his walk. He made it close to the cliff and raised a brow when he noticed someone there, though he couldn't tell who "H-hello...?" he said

"Keep smiling..."

"Hello..?!" he said a bit louder and got closer. He finally noticed who it was and his face darkened "Dave..?" he said quietly

*He took a deep breath*

He looked at him, hoping he was fine. Maddie continued healing him, bit by bit, but she started looking tired as she did

"Oh god.."

He blinked a few times, to keep himself from crying again "What is it? Are you ok..?" he asked quietly

"I'm fine."

He sighed with relief "Oh that's great.." he said and smiled at him while wiping his tears away. Maddie stopped and sighed, looking a bit tired

"I shouldn't have."

"Shouldn't have what..?" he asked and raised a brow. Maddie then whispered something to him "Yeah...ok, thank you again..." he said and she nodded, then left

"Cut myself."

He nodded "Yeah, you shouldn't have..." he said quietly "But...at least now you know not to do it anymore...." he said and smiled

"Do you want to go rest for a bit?" he asked, flapping his wings behind him

He frowned sadly "Yeah...you're not properly healed yet..." he muttered

"No." he frowned and smiled "I can fly us home." he said

He looked at him for a bit and sighed "We can stay for a bit." he said and smiled

He laughed quietly and hugged him

"I want to test these."

He nodded "Alright, but be careful." he said and stepped back a bit

"But not yet...I'm still sore.."

"Best to take it easy for now." he said and smiled a bit

"Come on...rest for a bit, then you can attempt to use your wings." he said and grabbed his hand

"Dave! Are you alright?!" he asked and kneeled next to him, looking a bit worried

He looks at him, a bit surprised. He smiles a little again and leaned his head back, closing his eyes for a bit

He yawns and rubs his eyes. He looks at the ceiling for a moment then back at him. He sighs and closes his eyes again, hoping to get some sleep

He got a bit startled and looked at him. He calmed down and laughed quietly, then smiled. He closed his eyes again

He was still sleeping, his head hanging from the side. He moved a bit from the noises but then stopped

*he spread large golden wings*

He glanced at them as he typed send on his phone "Wow...they're really pretty..." he said quietly, his voice still breaking

"...thanks..."

He nodded slowly and sat on the ground next to him. He put his phone in his pocket and let his wings stretch a bit, though he winced a bit "Why did you have to walk over here by the cliff...?" he asked, his voice still breaking

"...i wanted to jump."

He winced. Both because of his wings and the thought of him jumping. He frowned slightly and looked down "Why..." he asked quietly

"I hurt you."

He kept looking down "You didn't have had to jump because of that...." he said, his voice breaking again

*he flapped his wings*
"I..I know."

He closed his eyes and sighed, wiping his tears away "I forgive you for it though..." he said quietly

"h-he-"
*he couldn't breathe*

His eyes widened and quickly pulled out his phone. He dialed 911 and looked at him “Hold on…don’t die on me…” he said, his voice breaking

*he gasped for air*

He started crying. He grabbed his hand as he waited for the ambulance. “Please tell me this didn’t happen because of the cuts…” he said his voice breaking

*He smiled*

He frowned and started sobbing “Don’t smile, this is not the moment to smile!” He yelled “Why did you have to break our promise..?!” He asked

*he held up crossed fingers*
"hahahaa."

He grabbed his hand and held it "Why would you lie to me..?" he asked quietly, furious that the ambulance was taking too long and that he had been lied to

"Sorry."

He stared down at him and then looked away "...Just stay with me...until the ambulance gets here..." he said quietly, tears streaming down his cheek

"You cold?"

He smiled "I'm alright with my hoodie." he said quietly

"Feel this" *He put his arm out, with a fluffy sweater. [He grabbed two- put on one]

He felt it and he instantly took off his other sweater and put that one on. He smiled and laughed quietly

*he hugged him*

He blinked a few times and smiled again. He laughed and hugged him back

"You're very warm."
"Im very cold."

He smiled "I'll keep you warm." he said and kept hugging him

"Thanks hhah"

"You're welcome" he said happily and smiled

*He started to snore*

He looked at him and sighed of relief "At least he's fine..." he said quietly and put his phone down. He then wrapped them with his wings again

*He smiled*

He raised a brow and laughed quietly "Are you pretending..?" he asked quietly

*He opened his eyes*
"Sorry...I blacked out!"

He smiled "It's alright, just glad you're ok.." he said quietly

*He fell asleep*

He laughed quietly and smiled. He used his wings to keep him warm and grabbed his phone. Maddie was on her way. He sighed and put his phone away

He laughed and shook his head a bit. He smiled at him and then looked out for Maddie

"Don't look at me like that..."

“Then don’t threaten to shoot kids” he said, his arms still crossed and he smiled a bit

"I'm only joking!"

“You also said ‘unless’” he pointed out

"I- Unless they don't have par--"

“No” he crossed his arms again and frowned

"or suffering-"

“Dave!” He said and scoffed a bit

"Or-
None-"

“None” he said, he kept his arms crossed and he smiled

*He smiled*

He smiled back and kissed his cheek "Alright...come on, it's going to get chillier later...can you stand up?" he asked and stood up

*he stood up*

"Alright, let's go.." he smiled and started walking

*He slowly walked behind*

He pulled his hood up, getting a bit colder. He walked for a bit and then stood in front of his house. He opened the door and sighed, pulling his hood down

*He walked in and grabbed the cape*
"Back to the olden days."

He laughed quietly and removed the sweater, then put his hoodie on "It was really warm." he said

*He put a crown on*
"Sure."

He tilted his head a bit "A crown?" he asked and raised a brow

"Dave. Davey if you're close."

He nods "Well, nice to meet you, Dave. Now, come on, it'll get colder later." he said and turned his heel the other way and began walking

*dave picked up his red "cloak" and followed*

He hums quietly as he walks, looking down from time to time. After a bit, he stops in front of a two-story house. He grabs his keys from his pocket and unlocks the door. He opens it and glances back at him "Here we are." he said and yawned

"Impressing." *He slid into the house*

He rolled his eyes playfully and smiled "Thank you." he said and closed the door. He yawned again and glanced at him "You can rest up in the guest room. It's the second-door on the left" he said and rubbed his right eye tiredly

"Where should I set my coat?"

He pointed to a coat rack by the living room "Over there is fine, you can take it to your room as well, either way, is fine." he said

*He smiled* "Try it on!"

He glanced at him "You sure?" he asked, brushing his hair away from his face

*fire fell from the sky*
"TOO MANY! OH GOD NO-"

He heard more blasts and he covered his ears. He shut his eyes tightly, hating the loud noise.

*He ran over to him*
"Go back inside-"

He opened one eye and looked at him “Be careful…” he muttered and quickly ran inside, still covering his ears

*He lit a house on fire*
"He doesn't need to see this."

He closed the door and coughed, realizing how much flour was around. He frowned and started to clean up

*he threw the lighter and his cape burnt a bit, so he walked back.*

He finished cleaning and sighed “I’ll never bake again-“ he muttered and threw the paper towels away he used to clean up

*He ran inside and hid the cape and huffed*

He poked his head from out of the kitchen as he ate a cookie “Oh you’re back!” He said and smiled

*He held one hand out for a "pinky promise"
but kept the other hand, crossing fingers, behind his back*

He smiled a bit and pinky-promised “Good..” he said and kissed his cheek

*He put his hands on his lap*
"ha..."

He sighed and looked away from the cuts, looking down

*It slowly stopped raining*

He didn’t hear the rain anymore and looked back up. He didn’t see the waterfall anymore and sighed

*He continued whisling*

He looked back down “Why did you cut yourself…?” He asked quietly

*He shrugged*

He frowned slightly “No idea..?” He asked and glanced at him sadly
