You've got it swapped. Leftist politics are fundamentally anti-authoritarianist, while liberal politics are generally not questioning of authority. Leftists are commonly confused with Tankies (also known as China and Russia apologists) and tankies generally believe in an authoritarian government.

No. I've got it right. In yesteryear there were no Leftists. Liberals supported Freedom of Speech and the question authority meme. Leftists on the other hand are a much newer movement which hate America and absolutely hate the free expression of ideas to the point they will destroy the work lives of people whose opinions they refuse to listen to. They are the cancel culture mob.

I don't care about how people of the Left subclassify each other. Liberals differ from me in their political solutions, yet I know they love the country. Leftists hate our country.
