In an alternate timeline, Mr. Incredible loses his family on Syndrome's island while trying to stop villian from executing his dastardly plan. After much effort Bob defeats Syndrome but his only living son Jack-Jack is killed by the vile villian which leaves him fully utterly heartbroken and depressed due to the death of his family. Bob continues his life as a superhero but one day, he comes into contact with a substance that gives him the power to make and then destroy clones of himself at will along with shapeshifting which the clones can do as well. Using this ability, Mr. Incredible makes a new family with the clones shapeshifting to resemble his past family albeit with the clones still slightly resembling himself to a degree.
