this is why msmg is so toxic. no one takes serious stuff seriously, and sometimes we need to. the few of us that actually care about other people are ostracized and made fun of for having even a fraction of a moral compass.
on hell's kitchen, gordon was yelling at a particular chef and calling him a derogatory name
the chef broke down crying after a while. when asked why, he explained that his abusive father called him that when he was little and it really triggered his ptsd. and gordon, apologised and continued the show as usual but made sure not to call that chef that name. he respected his mental health and was able to do his job without hurting the chef.
we need more gordon ramsays here.
