I was more centrist than my wife when I met her when we first started dating. I didn't understand BLM, she explained it to me. I said "ALM" back in 2016 and she explained to me what it meant. She has shown me what women still deal with for gender rights disparity from sexual harassment to wage gaps, and so much more. I really do have her to thank for showing me a perspective I didn't understand or comprehend. Coupled with her Master's in Psychology, I've been able to pierce through the thin veil that so many of our fellow Americans had fallen prey to.

I could have easily been a MAGA dick. She wasn't the final agent. No, the MAGA party and their toxicity we have to thank for that.

If the movement were called “Black Lives Matter Also,” it probably would’ve been more palatable to the non-racist portion of the general public.

I don't think so, they'd just stay that they're asking for preferential treatment... I have no faith in them.
