Teaching hate creates more hate, not less.

You think race relations are improving?

So you support teaching critical race theory in schools? No concerns about that? You don't think this might back-fire and harm the black community?

I am uncomfortable teaching our kids to hate themselves, hate each other and hate our nation. I don't know what good this produces. I definitely don't see how this is benefiting any race or race relations. I'm happy to have a productive conversation about race. I just think we're going about it in a very divisive, destructive and hateful way. People feeling uncomfortable, in and of itself, is not progress. There needs to be some progress in there too.

Let me put this another way. When I see good ideas, I want to help. I'd love to help with ideas that help the black community. As a child, I was told the worst possible thing a person could be was to be a racist. Now, we're being told all white people are the worst possible thing imaginable. I think this is terrible and destructive... I don't want my kids being taught they are racist. Instead, I want to teach them to be helpful and accepting of everyone. So, I can't get behind CRT. I can't help. Instead, I'm compelled to criticize and stop CRT. This is not the same as criticizing blacks who I am happy to help and support. This is criticizing a theory that I think takes our nation in entirely the wrong direction.

a) What makes you think I don't have productive conversation about race. b) What did I "make up." c) how is any of this helping anyone.

Well, as I say, people who are comfortable having a productive conversation do not have to make things up, and it is that simple.

100s of years ago, blacks had no rights and were slaves. I think there is no better time in the history of our nation for blacks then right now. Corporations are killing themselves to diversify. 25% of college entrance lie about being a minority to get the benefits of being a minority. Jobs, money, benefits, opportunity... the doors have never been wider open. Probably the top things Harris had going for her was that not only is she black, she's a women. That's great! This is the golden age for minorities in America... which I'm happy about... until... CRT came along and started calling my 6 year old a racist solely because she is white.

Well, as I say, people who are comfortable having a productive conversation do not have to make things up, and it is that simple.

it's a two way conversation not a goverment imposed lecture. It won't just be whites whose feelings are going to get hurt if its truthful and honest.

It IS a two way conversation. Just not with you. You've been left behind. That's what happens when you take too long to listen to people.
