Actually, if you wanna blend easily, you should keep your strokes, round and small, be slow and steady, do the dark color first, then slowly go to the lighter one, and please never use a napkin to blend as they do In the videos, it looks bad and 62% of the times you'll end up tearing your paper, 12% of the times, you'll end up blending one color too much, that the other colors look dull, and 14% of the times you'll end up blending more than necessary and eventually the color will go out of the shape you wanted it to be in. and 5% of the times, people end up making something with great effort but the drawing just looks a bit dull, but anyhow, 7% of the times if you use a napkin to blend, you'd have a great drawing. BEWARE- If you use a napkin there is a 100% chance that you are gonna be tired, rubbing the napkin against the paper, and not to mention, your finger will be in no condition to draw anything
Now what you should do is, as I said before
if you wanna blend easily, you should keep your strokes, round and small, be slow and steady, do the dark color first, then slowly go to the lighter one.
