I understand nothing

I think there are plenty of Americans who understand the metric system but for some reason we still use the imperial system.

yeah I mainly made it cause my Canadian friend rags on me for not understanding it. American education system at work. lmao

By the way, just another thing to say, at my elementary school they only taught the imperial system (and it was hard because of all the weird conversions) but in middle school we’re learning the metric system (though we haven’t done conversions from imperial to metric and vice versa). On one of the first days of school, my science teacher said the imperial system (btw she called it the “english system”) was stupid, and I don’t blame her because it doesn’t make sense. Later she said “And now you have to learn both systems” or something related to that. The rest of the world must have it easy.

Well, that was an unnecessary comment.
