If someone would do their research, then they would've known that:

1: King Tut's valuables and treasures are in another room.

2: His body isn't supposed to be scattered skeletal remains, but supposed to remain intact while shriveled up in a box, something to do with traveling to the afterlife.

3: It's a body that's been dead for over 3000 years, of course it's gonna smell bad.
