I'm called Grinch and Scrooge often too. My parents are going through a divorce so I get super anxious whenever either one spends anything, and the gifts they choose cost a lot

You just don’t like Christmas, and you have very valid reasons
people call me a 'grinch' and 'scrooge' when I say i am dreading christmas, which is really offensive by the way, because we have relatives over and they don't accept my identity and deadname/pronoun me and it's just even more torture than my regular life is already
