Thermonuclear and nuclear bombs were designed to not only destroy the rock and metal, but the flesh and mind too. Sure, it’s a big missile, but it’s also basically a dirty bomb because it lets off not only heat but radiation so anyone outside of the blast radius takes an agonizing week to die.
