???: *they dont look up and continue what they're doing*

*the nearby lamppost shatters and the light turns off*

???: .....*the three people who were beating her up stopped and went out to check on the light

*it turns in again, I appear in front of them, the spots where my eyes are meant to be are pure black*

*the all take a step back on of the guys with a club swings at him*

*grabs it before it hits*

???: *tries to pull it away

*pulls it out of their hands and hits them with it*

???: *they fall on the floor
*the other two run away*

*floats over to you* are you hurt?

*shes covered in cuts and bruises*
Angel: *slightly moans, unable to speak*

Hey! Get away from her! *he runs over*

*there are three guys dressed in black and one of them is holding a club*
*the guy with the club looks up at them*
???: What are you gonna do?

Stop you, or convince you to stop

???: Ha! Like thats ever going to work!

*He sighs* two options. Leave her alone, or I make you leave her alone. I would suggest the former

???: Try me

I think I will. Hand to hand combat, or with weapons, you choose. If I lose, I’ll leave you to it. If I beat you all, you leave her alone. Sound good?

???: *nods and gets his bat ready*

*he smiles* weapons then. *he reaches his hand out next to him, and a glowing red sword flies into his hand*

???: *swings his bat at him*

*steps to the side, then sweeps the guy’s legs out from under him*

*the others see this and decide to leave

Shall we fight more, or do you surrender?

*the remaining guy runs away

*he walks over to them* are you ok?

Angel: *is lying on the ground covered in cuts and bruises and groans

I’ll take that as a no. *he taps a gadget in his ear, and the cuts start closing slowly, and the bruises slowly fade*

???: Hey, get off of them *punches one, and tases the other* leave, now

*the third guy runs away*
*angel is lying on the floor covered in cuts and bruises*

???: Hey, are you ok? Can you walk?

Angel: *slightly moans, unable to speak*

???: It's ok, I got you *hoists you up and carries you on her back* just try and stay conscious until we get back to my place

Angel: *tries to say something but fails and winces in pain*

???: don't try and talk until you get rest. were almost there *makes it back to apartment and runs up the stairs*

Angel: *doesn't respond

???: crap *lays you down on the couch and gets medical supplies*

Angel: *is barely conscious

???: Hey, stay awake, just for a little bit. let's see, this should wake you up a little *takes a little bit of rubbing alcohol to your wounds to clean them*

Angel: *opens her eyes a little bit* h-huh..?

???: here, it's ok. this might burn, but it will be ok. just stay awake

Angel: wh-who are you...?

???: my names Meghan. how are you doing

Angel: W-well better than b-before.... th-thank you meghan

Meghan: no problem *finishes bandaging you up* what's your name

Angel: Angel..

Meghan: nice to meet you. ok, now that you are all bandaged up, you can get some rest. after all that, you need some sleep

Angel: Thank you again...

Meghan: no problem. just get some sleep. i'll be here when you wake up

Angel: *wihtout respondinf she quickly falls asleep

Meghan: *stands by the touch and watches you sleep peacefully*
