Yeah this angers me a lot

Guys this is going to be a long ish rant so yeah; So I was getting a Silent lunch in my class and I had to sit in and miss recess ( in 6th grade in my school we get recess) and the teachers have handed that thing out so much to the point that I dont care anymore. I wanted to touch onto that because I wanted to say that when you hand out a punishment a lot. then kids will stop caring and will get used to that. I do feel that the school system in the U.S has to change its punishments even once and a while so kids dont get used to it, once a kid gets used to a punishment then it becomes useless and you have to try something new. So what I and getting to is that the School System needs to change. TL;DR Using a punishment over and over again lets kids get used to it; Also here is a hot take. Punishing kids so much can help lead to Depression
