i know this is kind of cliche and a little annoying of me probably
but the books were 100% better
so much more was explained in the books, and the movies had so many plotholes that the books didn't. don't get me wrong, the cast was great, and so was the acting, but it didn't stay true to the book
two examples:
1: in harry potter in the goblet of fire, in the book it says '' "Harry, did you put your name in The Goblet of Fire?" Dumbledore asked calmly." Meanwhile, in the movie, dumbledore ran at harry and pinned him against the wall shouting "hARRY DIDJA PUT YAH NAME IN THE GOBLET OF FIYAH?!?!?!?" the epitome of calm
2: in volemort's death scene, he was supposed to just die. normally. in the movie he gets f**king thanos snapped, and he disintegrates. in the books, he was supposed to just fall over dead. the whole point was for death to be "the great equalizer", since everyone dies at some point. harry used the killing curse on him, and yet he is the only one to be vaporized from it. everyone else just, well, died.
also, daniel radcliffe agreed to do a remake IF J. K. Rowling wasn't involved at all (she's been incredibly transphobic lately)
