but couldn’t u apply that to caesar and alexander the great? people wrote about them, but we haven’t gone back in time and seen them ourselves.
also, the Bible kinda does say that because of sin, nobody can even see God without dying, so God would be doing us a favor to not show Himself. So if He does exist, by that specific search for proof, nobody would ever find Him.
I understand much of the push nowadays and why people don’t believe in Him. I myself don’t always want there to be a God. But what I want has no bearing on reality. I wouldn’t want a devil to exist either, and the existence of one almost seems obvious now. I am watching the world right now being sneakily taken over by a savage and murderous evil that, if you ask me, almost proves Satan exists (matter of fact, if you’re interested, I could give you reasons I believe God exists based on many “coincidences” or institutions that suggest an evil spirit, specifically the Biblical devil, rules over people’s minds, and you don’t have to go back in history much to cover these things). Sadly, I think that is the strongest proof for God’s existence these days.
