Water molecules can generate electricity by bumping into each other. The electricity is what we call lightning, which is 5x hotter than the sun's surface. This insane heat can and sometimes will generate fire near where the bolt lands.

Or if you dont like big brains, water and fire becoming comrades creates air but w/ double force because of comradeship

I rarely use it. I prefer clouds of black smoke (diesel exhaust). But i too, like fire. I just like it coming out of a car's exhaust
