No, obviously we can't change our evolutionary past. But humans will never lessen our impact on this Earth. We could do absolutely nothing and continue to do what we do, but it wouldn't matter. We'll kill ourselves in the process. And this Earth will live on, even if we did our worst to it. Humans are already building their demise. Look at us. We get offended over different political beliefs, misgendering, and some f**king pronouns. We'll kill each other for these things. And none of them matter. Once we're on our final breath, you'll see it was pointless. All the things you fought for, they wouldn't matter in the end. We wouldn't matter. We're just a plague, a different type of disease, to let this world restart. We'll kill ourselves, and many other things. And the few remaining life forms that survive, they'll grow, start a new evolutionary line, and then another sentient form of animal will grow. Then they'll be like us, and it will be a never ending cycle. Of course, the Earth might end before that. But it might be plausible.
