The pilgrims had huge fights with the native americans (the original owners of this land) and eventually made the native americans give up the land. That's one of the reasons why "indian" tribes have died out.

Im actually part Indian, in fact everyone on my dads side of my family has some native American in us. Also did you not realize the only reason we're here today is because of that? Some prices were paid for a reason.
