Gonna be honest with all of you, i did not expect this to make it to the first page in the fun stream. Thank you guys for your support, even if it's just about some guy missing his friend.
I remember my best friend from childhood moved out of the apartment building we both lived in. We lost contact but he wind up moving back in the same building. His family moved a few more times & then we moved. I hadn't seen him in about 3 years & I was on my way to another best friend's house when he came on the same bus I was on. I didn't even recognize him. We talked for a lil bit but his stop was coming up. He took my mom's number down & said he would call me later on that day. Once he left the bus that was the last time I heard or seen him again. That was 20 years ago right before I went to boot camp for the navy. I always wondered what happened to him.
I once had a really good friend that we shared a lot in common. The best thing we had in common is that we loved classic Nintendo games, so I decided that I would get him an actual NES for his birthday. I eventually scraped up enough money to buy one. But I then had to move away for 6 months. Once I came back, I still lived pretty close by, so I went to his house on his birthday to give him the NES. But when I knocked on the door, someone else opened, and after asking where my friend went, she explained to me that he moved away. I still play on the system to this day, remembering the greatest friend I would ever have.
I miss you bro, wherever you are.
