We have a LGBTQ school council and I wanna join but I'm socially awkward as hell lol

My school has one too but it's only for year 8. They're going to try and get the teachers to allow older kids to do it too soon

Year 8s in my school get literally nothing. Year 7 takes most of the spotlight with being new and all (and this dumb school tradition where they have to sing Christmas carols). They also get like 6 trips a term. Year 8 only gets 2 or 3 trips a year, and they're not usually good ones. The only reason that they're ever mentioned is vaping and the LGBTQ council

In year seven we get to do a camping trip but cause of covid it was cancelled, and we were promised one in year eight but we didn't get it... Guess who did? The year sevens! And guess who got iPads for home learning? The two years below me! 😡😡
