Based off of past experiences with site mods, I don’t think you would have helped, after all, one less user on the site doesn’t matter to you, does it? Just one less incredibly insignificant user doesn’t make a difference, does it?

If users mention they are thinking about deleting and I've had a lot of positive interactions with them, I usually try to talk them out of deleting. I tried to talk RayCat out of deleting his account.

The Terms of Use has a good sentence that sums up the rest. "You can stop using our Services at any time, although we’ll be sorry to see you go."

I originally was trying to tell the person I think did it to give it to a guy I did trust. The guy who I wanted to give it to had given me there password, and just so they would know that I wasn’t going to do anything wrong I gave them mine.
