I've waited long enough. | Okay, I've waited long enough to address this. Artbreeder is a platform where you combine two images that were explicitly made open for use by the creators. Plus, a different art piece is made when the two images are combined. Therefore, it isn't theft, as the images were explicitly open for use, and it is combining two images that were open for use to create a new image. If I'm wrong, please do correct me, and I understand why it was misunderstood at first, but I believe that Artbreeder should be allowed. | image tagged in art, serious | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

You are taking 2 peices of art that you didn't make and combining them to make another piece of art that you didn't make. If it were to be allowed you should need to credit the 2 original artists and provide a link to the website, after all the website made it, not you.

Okay, I guess? That is fair, but there’s no way to find the original artists, and emphasis on the fact that they explicitly opened the art piece for use, and I’m pretty certain there’s a watermark. I’ll check once I can, but there is no way to find the original artist. I can tell you read this, but if you didn’t read it, read it. A link to the site is providable, but there was a problem I had the first time I uploaded something from Artbreeder. I was shot down for not crediting the original artists of the two *open* images when there was no means to find the original artist. If possible, these should be part of the rules for Artbreeder, but you need to understand that this is a ‘tech gap’. There’s no rules for Artbreeder yet, so we cannot be expected to abide by them. I understand that the artists must be credited, but there’s no way to find the artists.

If there is no way to find the artists, it should not be used. When you see furry art on this page, it is also open to post, but the stream itself, not the artist specifically, demands credit. It isn't fair, even if the art is "open" If there is a "tech gap" then until it's closed it should not be used. Art breeder makes sense to be off limits, considering the original stream rules.

Sorry, wait, I just found this in Artbreeder support: “All images are public domain (CC0) and may be used for commercial purposes.”
Just clearing this up that this is official. If it should not be allowed in the stream, I can understand, and will just take this elsewhere, but I’m talking about the legal part of this. I’m not invalidating any of your points, by the way. All of your points are valid points, I’m just childish and hate losing. Mainly because I’m currently using my deleted Artbreeder image as my profile picture on YouTube right now. You cannot blast me for that, YouTube is completely outside of this stream’s rules.
