Special Containment Procedure: Must be kept in a room with soundproof walls and bright lights. There must also be speakers playing loud noises that are out of his reach. 3 times a day, a D-Class personnel must bring in a bucket of live mice. Once the D-Class personnel has evacuated the cell, the speakers are allowed to be turned off so 9741 can eat. Once 9741 has been fed, the speakers must be turned on again.
Description: SCP-9741 takes the form of a tall white humanoid creature, similar to SCP-96. However, 9741 has a single long, pale eye and a mouth that resembles a wooden flute. 9741 is blind, so it relies on its sense of hearing to find prey. 9741 will always go for the loudest noise it can hear. If a noise Piper was tracking stops, it will play various tunes to try and trick its prey into singing along. A major weakness of 9741 is its lack of physical strength, which is comparable to a standard human. 9741 was originally found near Hamelin, Germany. A field researcher from Hamelin remembered a story he was told of a monster known as Piper that would come and eat noisy people. After a researcher overheard this, multiple MTF soldiers were sent out to try and see if the story was true. After luring 9741 with loud noises, the soldiers were able to contain 9741 in a metal cage, where he was taken to a nearby facility.
