So they’re neither acknowledging your pain nor helping you with it?
Parents are supposed to raise you and help you through things that hurt (such as dysphoria). I can understand a parent wanting to do more research about hormone therapy, maybe talk to their child about waiting a week or month to make sure this is a permanent decision, but just “not believing in it”? BRUH! Do more research! If the child wants it, is sure, and it’s safe, it’s really their decision at the end, if they’re making an informed decision.
If hormone therapy can give you breasts, then I’m def gonna want that. (I’m under 18 so I can’t get the surgeries yet)
