If you're going to make such a distinction, you might as well define what sort of conservative you are: Fiscal? Social? Because per the popular definition, the conservatives who are referred to are the Fiscally and Socially Conservative which are typical within the Trump Party... Oh... That's what they meant by the "T" Party... Party of Trump... Not "Tea"
I don't agree that trumpists have enough ideological consistency or principles to qualify as either fiscally or socially conservative. It's about worshipping trump as a savior and being obedient to him, not about any political philosophy.

You're right. Be that as it may, it's what they identify as. So, should we respect that? As we do with Trans and non binary?
I say no. Trans and nonbinary people are arguing in good faith for consistent and rational new definitions, trumpists are lying and twisting words all over the place as a kind of cultural kamikaze total warfare.

Some think they are legitimately fisc./soc. conserv. If they do not match these ... well, labels. What else do they fit? Certainly, not liberal, progressive, etc.
