Morrow: "Of course he can. He is able to see the future to some extent, has a small army of sentient eyeballs to fight for him, and has a few other abilities."
Morrow: "Oh, he got the crap kicked out of him once by a woman in hot pink samurai armor with a rainbow sword. But he's almost incapable of attacking if he can't see."
Morrow rolls his eyes and resumes operating.
From looking around, it seems that instead of security cameras this lab has a weird hive mind of those creepy eyes.
Macrocosm: "...you are a strange one... yet your friend is even stranger. She seems able to charm all the beings in this lab save for myself, and quite frankly it disgusts me."
The lab is... horrifying. It seems divided into different sections, all of which are drastically different and chaotic. One section is flooded with eyes and another is submerged in a giant tank of salt water.
Aquifer: "Unlike the rest of us, Macrocosm wasn't created."
Macrocosm: "...this is true. I was expelled from my universe and almost killed after I was defeated. Luckily the doctor was around and managed to save me."
Lauren: Don’t have too much about myself. Father was an assassin. Kinda followed in his lead. I take whatever jobs will make money to keep my mother alive. My father taught me how to make weapons out of anything and combat.
???: "If you can get Aquifer's attention without alerting Macrocosm, ask her to distract him. If she starts chatting him up, he'll be too busy to check the eyes."
Harvey: "No problem, miss. Oh, and one more thing- If you really want to make a good impression on Mac and the doctor, try asking them about their pasts. Mac will be glad to just talk, and Morrow probably just wants someone to understand what he's been through."
Harvey: "Of course they don't talk to people much. Everybody hates the doctor. They call him a heartless, unethical monster because of the experiments and surgeries that he conducts here. Even his own sister refuses to see him."
Morrow: "...it began when I was very young. I learned modern medicine from my father, and knitting from my surrogate mother. It seemed useless at first, but I found fresh purpose after operating on and... 'augmenting'... an injured dog."
Morrow: "...After that, I built myself a small laboratory... and I continued my research. My father and sister were disgusted by it, and over time we grew apart... now my sister refuses to talk to me and my father is dead."
Morrow: "...the one exception in my research is Macrocosm. He was not my creation, I simply found him half-dead and revived him, then gave him a few augmentations."
Morrow: "He can see the future to some extent, but they are not always accurate visions. He saw a future in which all of reality was consumed by darkness and chaos, and it corrupted him."
You have been sent to capture the deranged scientist Morrow, also known as the "Dark Surgeon". You arrive at his laboratory armed with nothing but your wits (and your weapons, of course)...
