try and get ur friend to convince their mom that it was just a phase, tell the mom that they'll leave the club, sacrifices must be made in order to stay, i wish there was another way other than to leave the club, but that's the only idea i have

If you’re friend tries to come out as pan, one of three things could happen: their mom would say it’s just a phase, their mom could hate them for it, or their mom could actually realize LGBTQ is not a bad thing. Most likely, they would probably say the first thing. There’s no good way to convince their mom, the best would probably be what Insomnicat said, though if that doesn’t work, you could try coming out. It would likely end in punishment and probably isn’t a great idea, but it could be your best chance, you’d have to convince her it’s not a phase though, and your friend would have to do it

I am fortunate enough to not have homophobic parents, but I know enough homophobic people to know that their homophobia is not a complex hatred, everyone follows the same few patterns, which makes it easier to deal with

yeah, some people hate gay people just because of there existence but the average homophobe doesn't really do that, only the major ones

the answer is always violence
