From what I understand about the big bang theory, everything was compressed in a tiny space before it happened, which would theoretically result in a black hole. Now, it is theorized that black holes can explode in on themselves, which could, in theory, explain the big bang. As far as I know though, we have never actually witnessed a black hole exploding in on itself. We have seen black holes cause explosions, but the black hole continues to exist and the method of creating the explosion is different. And the idea of black holes being able to explode in on themselves is based in quantum physics, which, I personally don't buy into, and many scientists can point out problems with it. Quantum mechanics is based on treating probabilities as if they are all occurring at once (until they are observed). I'd recommend looking up Schrodinger's cat. Keep in mind, Schrodinger created the thought experiment to show that this model of looking at things was dumb, because us observing a system does not change anything in that system. Quantum mechanics is kind of like asking if the wall is there when we're not looking. I much prefer Einstein's theory of general relativity over quantum theory.

In short, it's possible in quantum theory, but I really think that theory is at least premised on bogus illogic, and the only other explanation I see is a divine creator.

I suspect black holes are universes, which is why ours seems to be expanding at an increasing rate.

But black holes keep forming and growing, so shouldn't that mean our universe should be contracting?

Not if we're inside a black hole that's sucking in timespace.

That's... possible I suppose

When I say black holes might be universes, I'm including our universe, which would be a black hole in another universe.

yeah

yes, i agree with your statement

It is impossible to explain this problem scientifically unless you acknowledge the existence of an eternally existent being, which created the world in one way or another.

The big squeeze is the other part of the big bang.

The theory goes, in a previous iteration of the universe - all matter in the universe collapsed into something like a mega-singularity. At that point, it was a tug-of-war between heat and gravity....heat won - BANG.

Of course, there are competing theories. One is that there wasn't a single big bang - but many, happening all over the place (the universe is a big place). While we're in an expansion period, another part of the universe is in a contraction period. When the contracting space becomes dense enough, it will explode into an expansion period.

well, assuming we're going with the big bang, it was stored, and as the singularity began to dissolve, there was not enough mass to contain the energy. idk

I don't lend much credence to the big bang theory, as it just sounds like a convenient myth for those unable to envision more than they can perceive with their five senses and limited minds. Energy never perishes, so I would think all that energy came from a source beyond our known and tangible universe. Brahma, God, the Great Creator, Sophia, whatever we mere mortals wish to call it.

The energy wasn’t created, it was already there. Most likely it was stored up as and EXTREME amount of potential energy, and a spark set it off

personally, I believe(in my opinion that volcanoes caused extinction for dinos) that all this energy must have been suppressed within the earth(for the 2nd time, as the first time caused life to exist on earth) long enough that it caused the big bang, so really it could've been a series of volcanoes releasing pressure all at once, but because now there is enough volcanoes where it can release some of that pressure one at a time, so we wont experience mass extinction anytime soon

"Quantum foam"

Or we're inside a black hole in another universe.
