All ya gotta do is draw one, common and uncommon protogen are open species. You can google the guide-lines for protogen, if you're bad at drawing you can use a base.

Here's a FTU base I found online. Just open like MS paint or something and fill in the lines with say a paint bucket tool, then give it a name and boom! you have a protogen character.
