I personally wouldn't like to have my birthday on a holiday because I feel like then people tend to forget your birthday. My daughter was born on Christmas eve. It's impossible to plan a birthday party because everyone is understandably getting ready for Christmas.

We just host a costume party that’s mixed with a birthday party

I mean there's pros and cons. My daughter is turning 5 and she absolutely loves her birthday, she gets 2 celebrations and usually asks for a snowman cake.
